I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve been midway through a recipe, scrolled down to read the rest of the ingredients, only to realize I’m missing an integral ingredient. I’m sure the vast majority of you actually read through the recipe all the way before you begin making it (I’m getting better at this), but I typically have not and it has gotten me into some trouble. Needless to say, I have become familiar with substitutes!
