These moist, banana oat cookies are perfect for breakfast or a junk food craving without the junk!

A lot of times I will look for a healthy recipe that yields a great tasting result, and a lot of times that search and experiment comes to no avail. However, sometimes I am lucky and find a winner that is both healthy and delicious. This is such a case. A few of my favorite all time ingredients are included, and I figured there could be no poor combination of such ingredients. All this while being sugar free as well (except what is in the chocolate chips).

These cookies came out moist, and flavorful. I love the fact that this recipe only requires a few, wholesome ingredients without any more steps than just dumping them all in a bowl and mixing them together. These cookies taste like something old-timey and ageless that draws you in. Any food or knick knacks that make me feel like I’m living a century or two ago give me satisfaction. For example, Lillian and I don’t own normal glasses, but only mason jars because everything taste better coming out of a mason jar. I am not sure why, but I just love it. No exception here with these cookies. They are simple and composed of ingredients that have stood the test of time.

If you are looking for a healthy cookie that satisfies your sweet tooth all while being good for you, the buck can stop here. Enjoy these cookies!
