Quick and easy homemade buns ready in under an hour that are soft and fluffy.
Quick and fast homemade soft buns

If anyone else is like me in never planning meals far in advance and just going to the fridge and freezer to see what you can come up with for a meal, you will invariably want burgers or grilled chicken sandwiches and realize you have no buns.

This is the perfect remedy for that problem our family faces almost on a weekly basis! These buns are ready in less than an hour (the more you make them, the more proficient you’ll become as well (it takes me only 30 minutes from start to finish now), and they are soft and fluffy rather than dense and chewy like other quick breads I have made in the past.

Quick and fast homemade soft buns

These buns really are one of the best homemade bun recipes I’ve used and they are much quicker than any other recipe as well. Hope you enjoy!

  2. In a large mixing bowl add the warm water and gently whisk the yeast into the water
  3. Add sugar and oil and let rest for 5 minutes
  4. Add the egg and salt to the bowl
