Celebrate Independence Day with a colorful 4th of July Bundt Cake! Red, white, and blue inside and out—easy to make and beautiful to serve.
Ingredients
- 1 box white cake mix (+ the ingredients the cake mix calls for)
- 12 – 14 oz whipped fluffy white frosting
- red and blue food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat oven to what is instructed on cake mix box
- Make cake batter as instructed on box
- Pour cake batter equally into 3 separate bowls and add the red and blue food coloring a few drops at a time into each its own bowl and mix until reaching desired red and desired blue
- Pour the red cake batter into a greased bundt pan, then pour the white batter on top of the red being careful not to mix but evenly covering the red batter, then pour the blue batter in a ring shape over the white batter leaving white batter visible on the left and right of the blue
- Bake as directed on the box
- Separate frosting into three separate bowls
- Microwave one bowl for 10 or so seconds until frosting is somewhat liquidy and add the blue food coloring and mix until having desired blue. Do the same with another bowl for the red, and do the same with the white bowl without adding any coloring
- Once cake is baked and cooled off, drizzle frosting over cake one color at a time and you are done!
